Jury Duty Information

Thank you for your service. Your jury duty supports the constitutional right to trial by jury.

Reporting for Jury Service

Jurors are summoned by mail. Your summons will tell you when and where to report. Please bring your summons and a photo ID. Reporting time is typically 8:00 AM at the Johnson County Courthouse (150 W. Santa Fe St., Olathe, KS 66061).

Parking & Directions

Free parking is available in the public lot adjacent to the Courthouse. See Map & Directions.

Juror Compensation

Jurors receive statutory compensation per Kansas law for each day of service, plus mileage reimbursement.

Accessibility & Accommodations

The Courthouse is fully ADA-accessible. If you need a specific accommodation (sign language interpreter, hearing assistance, mobility access), please contact the Court at least 5 business days before reporting. See Interpreters and ADA Accommodations.
